Рассказ о себе на английском языке (About myself)
Знакомимся ли мы с кем-либо, устраиваемся ли на работу, или просто пытаемся представить себя, нам приходится грамотно рассказывать о себе. Разница лишь в том, какую информацию стоит сообщать в определенных ситуациях. При устройстве на работу, рассказ о себе на английском должен быть предельно лаконичен и краток, не изобиловать ненужными подробностями. При знакомстве, например, с иностранцами в неформальной обстановке, можно позволить себе дополнить рассказ о себе на английском языке (about myself) какими-либо уточняющими деталями.
В любом случае существует своеобразный «каркас» этой темы, на который при желании или по возможности можно «одеть» любую дополнительную информацию, касающуюся вашей жизни. Если вы запомните шаблон рассказа о себе на английском языке и освоите необходимую лексику, вы всегда сможете увлекательно и интересно представить себя окружающим.
Как построить рассказ о себе на английском языке?
В качестве введения неплохо упомянуть, что рассказывать о себе не очень легко, потому что объективно тебя оценить могут только со стороны (It is hard to speak about myself as only people surrounding me can see me objectively). Далее будет вполне уместна фраза “Let me introduce myself”, которая превращает вашего собеседника во внимательного слушателя. Прежде всего, стоит назвать имя и фамилию (name / surname), ваш возраст (age). Говоря о возрасте, вы можете развить этот раздел и рассказать, когда и где вы родились (I was born on the … (date) of … (month) … (year) in city / town / village). Здесь будут уместны и несколько предложений посвященных месту вашего рождения (город, село).
Чтобы рассказ о себе на английском языке был логично выстроен, надо плавно переходить от одного раздела к другому. Если начали говорить о дне и городе рождения, далее расскажите вкратце о своей семье (I have a large / small family with…brothers / sisters. I am an only child in a family). Нелишним будет упоминание имен и профессий ваших родителей (My mother – name – is a teacher. My father – name – is a doctor). Если вы еще учитесь в школе, уделите часть рассказа о себе на английском языке повествованию о вашей школьной жизни (I am a pupil of…form). Поделитесь, какие науки вам интересны, а какие даются с трудом (Now I am getting a proper training in such subjects as… — for example, English, Ukrainian Litterature, Biology etc.). Скажите о ваших планах на будущее, кем бы вы хотели стать (I am to make an important decision – which profession to choose. I would like to become… (profession). I am interested in it because…). Если же вы уже закончили среднее учебное заведение, а может, и высшее, рассказывайте об этом в прошедшем времени, посвящая каждому периоду вашей жизни несколько предложений. Кстати, если вы уже работаете, вы можете дать оценку тому, сбылись ли ваши мечты по поводу будущей профессии (When I was 15 I dreamt about being a vet. But my dream did not fulfill and now I am working as an accountant). Вам могут понадобится названия профессий на английском языке.
В рассказе о себе а английском языке обязательно должно присутствовать ваше описание внешности и характера. Вы можете включить это в самое начало рассказа после указания своего имени и возраста. Или же после сведений о вашей учебе и работе. Например, When I look at myself in the mirror I see…(description of your appearance). Только не слишком увлекайтесь одной внешностью, плавно перейдите на характер (description of character), упоминая ваши достоинства (advantages) и недостатки (drawbacks). Делясь своими соображениями по поводу вашего характера, назовите качества (qualities), которые вы цените в людях (appreciate / like), и те, которые вы не приемлите (hate / irritate / dislike). Например: I like to assosiate with polite and inteligent people, I appreciate sincerity and trust. I hate when people lie and betray. Those who are unreliable irritate me.
Заключительную часть рассказа о себе на английском языке посвящаем своим предпочтениям (preferencies), увлечениям (interests) и хобби (hobby). Например: As for my interests, I am fond of…I am interested in…I like….I adore…I devote much time to… Это может быть что угодно – чтение (reading), языки (learning foreign languages), вязание (knitting), танцы (dancing), путешествия (travelling) и т.д. Закончить рассказ о себе на английском языке можно парой предложений о том, что вы стремитесь быть внимательной дочерью / сыном (a careful daughter / son), уважаемым специалистом (efficient specialist) и просто прекрасным человеком (a good person).

Banks borrow money by accepting funds deposited on current accounts, by accepting term deposits, and by issuing debt securities such as banknotes and bonds. The banker should ensure that the lender will be able to repay the loan within a specified time.
Every day, the bankers should monitor the financial operations of the bank for which they work. This duty means ensuring that records are accurate and
items such as loan applications, deposits, or bank statements are reviewed at the day’s end to verify that no fraudulent actions were committed.
Some bankers may also sell financial instruments such as stocks and bonds from time to time. This will depend on the type of financial institution that a banker works at and whether it is within their job description and ability to do so.
