Здравствуйте, Виктория. Не могли бы вы проверить моё сочинение? Нам было задано написать письмо другу про какое-либо путешествие.
Hi, Leo
It was nice to have a letter from you after all this time. I have been thinking of writing to you since I returned from my holidays. But, as you know, writing is not my strong point, and I have kept postponing and postponing it. Finally I will try to write and send a letter to you, and in future I will be more regular.
I have just returned home after a very pleasant journey. At the end of summer I took a trip to Barcelona with my friends. We had a rattling time.
Barcelona — the famous Spanish city of stunning beauty, the subject of many poems and songs. This city replete with monuments, buildings and unique places that are well worth a visit.
In Barcelona, we visited the Gothic area, Barcelona’s cathedral, the Magic Fountain and PortAventura. I am struck by the size and magnificence of the Park Güell
Magic Fountain of Montjuic
Park Güell. Surprising creativity of the architect Gaudi can be infinite! Park — just a fairy tale!
Montserrat — Spain’s oldest Benedictine monastery located on an unusual mountain with the same title. The Monastery looks so harmoniously with the rocks on top of a mountain that seems to be its integral part.
PortAventura is one of the largest amusement parks in Europe. PortAventura is divided into five «worlds»: Mediterranean Sea, Far West, China, México and Polynesia.
We arrived home with beautiful memories, which we shall always cherish.
I am very eager to hear from you, so please write as soon as you can.
As ever, Julia.
Заранее благодарна=)

10. …that seems to be a part of it.

Добрый день, Виктория)) Мне дали задание описать свое путешествие, но я не уверен в правильности. Не могли бы вы его проверить и указать на мои ошибки? Заранее благодарен))
I want to tell you my trip to the Kyiv. It was two years ago and took three weeks. I went with my sister and parents. We have made this journey many times, but only then I have seen all the sights of our capital. Firstly, I was impressed by world-known Kyivo-Pecherska Lavra and the Golden Gate. Secondly, we’ve understood that Independence Square is really charming! It’s an epic place where took place a lot of events!! Whole day we walked on the city. We saw chestnuts, symbol of Kyiv. They are really beautiful. On our way to Kyiv our fellow-passengers were two Englishmen. They told me about their sights such as Big Ben, London Eye and other. I was very glad to met them, but it’s nothing all ’cause our fellow-passengers on our way home were three Italian. From their story I learn more about Coliseum and age of gladiators. I’ll never forget this trip, because in this one I learn better our history and history of another countries. From that day my motto is «Try to know all the world».
Еще раз спасибо))))
